Judge Fluker served as a Superior Court Judge in the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit, a role that carries significant responsibility and impact at the local level. The Superior Court is one of the highest trial courts in Georgia, handling some of the most serious and complex cases that affect individuals, families, and the broader community. In this position, Judge Fluker presided over felony criminal cases, major civil disputes, domestic relations matters such as divorce and child custody, and cases involving property rights and equity.

Her role was not just about making rulings—it was about ensuring that justice was applied fairly and consistently. She was responsible for interpreting the law, overseeing jury trials, ruling on evidence and legal motions, and safeguarding the constitutional rights of all parties involved. In criminal cases, her decisions could impact public safety and the lives of defendants and victims alike. In family court matters, her rulings helped shape the futures of families and children across Gwinnett County.

Before her time on the Superior Court bench, Judge Fluker also served as a Magistrate Court Judge and an Associate Judge for the Dacula Municipal Court. In those roles, she handled preliminary hearings, small claims, county ordinance violations, and local municipal cases. These positions are often the first point of contact for many residents with the judicial system, and her service there demonstrated her commitment to accessibility, fairness, and community-centered justice.

Across every level of her judicial career, Judge Fluker was known for her thoughtful approach, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to upholding the integrity of the legal system. She brought not only legal expertise to the bench, but also compassion and respect for the people whose lives were impacted by her decisions.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Judge Fluker’s legacy is one of service, leadership, and justice—one that will continue to be felt throughout Gwinnett County for years to come.
