New Facility in Norcross to Generate 30 Jobs and Strengthen Equipment Support in Gwinnett and Cobb Counties

Norcross, GAWesPro JCB has broken ground on its second branch in Norcross, Georgia, marking a major expansion aimed at serving the fast-growing equipment market in Gwinnett and Cobb counties. The 14,000-square-foot facility, strategically located along the I-85 corridor near Jimmy Carter Boulevard, is set to create 25-30 new jobs, improving parts availability and service support for JCB’s metro Atlanta customers. Construction, managed by Alpharetta-based T.D. Farrell Construction Inc., is scheduled for completion by April 2025.

New Jobs and Economic Growth in Norcross

The project is expected to deliver a significant economic boost to Norcross and the surrounding area. This expansion underscores JCB’s commitment to Georgia, leveraging WesPro’s growing presence to provide high-quality products and top-tier service to local clients. With additional job openings anticipated, this new facility represents not just an economic asset but a substantial workforce development opportunity in Norcross.

Supporting Local Infrastructure and Strategic Growth

The Norcross branch will be WesPro’s main office, with the initial location in northwest Atlanta shifting to a satellite role. “Approximately 25 to 30 new jobs will be created at the Norcross location once it’s fully operational,” noted Wesley Scott, owner of WesPro JCB. “The location allows us to serve both Gwinnett, the largest market for equipment sales in Georgia, and Cobb County, the second largest, effectively covering the metro Atlanta area.”

Scott further highlighted the strategic advantages of this expansion, “We’re a private dealer, and JCB’s support has been instrumental. With the additional space, parts availability will significantly improve, ensuring we’re well-equipped to meet customer demands.”

A State-of-the-Art Facility

The new facility, built on a 3-acre site, will feature 10 drive-through bays, an integrated overhead crane system, and dedicated spaces for parts stocking and office use. The construction includes 35-foot-high tilt walls, poured and set onsite. As JCB North America’s top-rated Dealer Service Excellence (DSE) recipient, WesPro will benefit from its proximity to JCB’s North American headquarters, further boosting service and parts efficiency.

President and CEO of JCB, Richard Fox-Marrs, emphasized the company’s investment in Georgia’s economy. “JCB’s commitment to Georgia is substantial. With over 1,200 employees in Savannah and an expanding network of sponsor dealerships, we are dedicated to building local distribution networks that reflect our product quality. Atlanta is a vital market, and we are committed to establishing world-class facilities like WesPro’s new branch in Norcross.”

A Strong Future for JCB and WesPro in Norcross

The new WesPro JCB branch in Norcross not only enhances local infrastructure and job opportunities but also symbolizes a long-term commitment to the economic vitality of the Atlanta metro area. As the project progresses, the facility is anticipated to become a cornerstone of JCB’s strategy to reinforce its footprint in Georgia, delivering unparalleled support for equipment owners in Gwinnett and Cobb counties and beyond.
