Commissioner Nicole Love-Hendrickson was the speaker at the Lawrenceville Rotary Club. She shared with those in attendance what’s happening in County Government.
Gwinnett County has almost one million residents. At last count the number of residents was right around 983,000. Gwinnett is the second largest county in the state of Georgia ranking second to Fulton County. A county this size takes a strong team to help it run sufficiently. Nicole and the others commissioners put in a lot of work to make sure that the citizens of the county have what they need to make their community a great place to live, work and play.
Right now there are a total of 5 commissioners who work with Nicole. Each commissioner is responsible for overseeing a certain demographic in the county. This structure makes sure that all members of the commission have the capacity to work together in a very efficient manner.
