Gwinnett County, Georgia—home to over 980,000 residents and one of the most dynamic economies in the Southeast—continues to solidify its reputation as a premier business hub. Partnership Gwinnett, the region’s leading economic development initiative, recently celebrated more than 1,600 new jobs and $275 million in capital investment with a company reception, sponsored by Hogan Construction Group, to honor businesses that chose Gwinnett as their location or expansion site in 2024.

This year’s event welcomed companies across Partnership Gwinnett’s target sectors, each playing a crucial role in job creation, economic growth, and the strengthening of the local business ecosystem. Among the honorees were Elemaster, GreenBoom, maeirAMERICA, McKesson, NanoLumens, OFS, RealTruck, Sortimo, and Thermacell.

“When companies choose Gwinnett, they are choosing to grow in a community known for its global access, a labor draw of 2.6 million people, top-tier educational institutions, and an inclusive quality of life,” said Andrew Hickey, Director of Economic Development at Partnership Gwinnett. “We are excited to have these companies investing in our community and look forward to building on this success in 2025.”

Beyond recognizing corporate achievements, the event also highlighted nonprofit partners that collaborate with Partnership Gwinnett to support economic development and community well-being. Organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Explore Gwinnett, Home of Hope GCS, and Positive Impact International were honored for their contributions.

As Gwinnett continues to attract top-tier businesses and cultivate a pro-growth environment, Partnership Gwinnett remains committed to fostering corporate expansions, workforce development, and economic sustainability. Looking ahead, the organization will host the annual Economic Outlook on March 27, featuring insights from Dr. Alfie Meek with the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute. Registration and sponsorship opportunities for the event are available at PartnershipGwinnett.com.
