Why Is Ironshield Brewery Is Closing Its’ Doors?
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closing of the Ironshield Brewing taproom in Lawrenceville at the end of the day on Sunday, December 3rd. It has been our great pleasure to produce and serve our classic lagers and ales in our taproom and biergarten since July of 2020.
We have enjoyed the experience of adding quality and fun to the craft beer world, working with some of the most talented and dedicated team members in the business, making great friends and collaborating with the best in the craft beer business. We have made many great friendships and are saddened that the great times we have shared in our taproom will come to an end.
All of us at Ironshield Brewing want to thank YOU for the last three and a half years of patronage, support, and friendship. While our Lawrenceville Taproom will be closing for business on Sunday, December 3rd, our journey is not over. We plan to keep Ironshield Beer available in the market at the many restaurants, pubs, and retailers who continue to support us.
Will More Breweries Follow Ironshield?
One of my favorite breweries is Slow Pour Brewery. My family and I like to go there and hang out during the summer, because they have the games. I’m not a beer drinker, but I love the community atmosphere, but now I’m wondering will it stay open or will it fold like Ironshield. I know that Ironshield is the third brewery to close in Gwinnett County.
