Partnership Gwinnett is excited to announce the opening of Hirano Tecseed Co., Ltd.’s first U.S. office in Norcross, Gwinnett County, Georgia. This Japanese leader in coating machine manufacturing selected the metro Atlanta area for its international accessibility, diverse talent pool, and robust economic environment conducive to growth.

Hirano Tecseed specializes in high-tech coating machinery essential in industries such as electronics, medical, and aerospace. Their equipment is pivotal in manufacturing products like adhesive tapes, liquid crystal displays, electronic components, wallpaper, and aircraft parts. The company is also noted for its commitment to environmental sustainability.

Kaoru Okada, President of Hirano Tecseed, stated, “We are excited to establish our first U.S. office in Norcross, which will enhance our service to American customers and expand our presence in the U.S. market. We are grateful for the warm reception and support from Gwinnett County and the State of Georgia.”

The announcement came during a global business mission to Japan by Partnership Gwinnett, joined by Gwinnett County government, business and community leaders, and the Georgia Department of Economic Development, who visited Hirano Tecseed’s headquarters in Nara.

Commissioner Kirkland Carden expressed, “We are delighted to welcome Hirano America to Gwinnett. Their presence will enrich our international business community and open new avenues for economic collaboration and growth.”

Deven Cason, Vice President of Economic Development, commented, “Hirano Tecseed’s choice of Norcross reflects Gwinnett County’s appeal as a prime business locale. We are eager to support their growth in our community.”

Commissioner Pat Wilson of the Georgia Department of Economic Development added, “Hirano Tecseed’s investment in Norcross demonstrates the international business community’s recognition of Georgia as a gateway to the U.S. market. Our active participation in international networks and our established global presence continually create such opportunities. We look forward to assisting Hirano Tecseed’s expansion in Georgia.”

Significant contributions from Georgia Power, the Metro Atlanta Chamber, and the City of Norcross played a crucial role in facilitating this project. Mayor Craig Newton noted, “Norcross is renowned for its global business reach. We are proud to have Hirano leverage our strategic location for their growth in the American market.”
