North Georgia – Derrick J. Wilson and the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce (GECC) announced today the introduction of a new sales and informational tool for its members in Snellville and the Southern areas of Gwinnett County. This new partnership with About Magazines offers an opportunity for GECC member businesses to gain greater marketing exposure, attract new clients thus boosting bottom lines – something every business needs. The partnership extends beyond GECC with MD Communications and the Gwinnett Women’s Chamber of Commerce as additional partners – all of which support the mission of all partners to establish a larger business growth ecosystem and county-wide economic footprint. “With the first premier issue scheduled for September, the time is now for local businesses who
are focused on new consumer acquisitions to take advantage of this marketing opening. If you are not a member, we invite you to get on board and not to miss this opportunity to drive new customers to learn about and engage with your service, product, and offerings,” said GECC President Derrick J. Wilson.

About Magazines offers publications specifically developed to offer local businesses a opportunity to send their message to high network homeowners in their community service areas. The new partnership will include the About Magazines Gwinnett/Snellville. Each publication will allow businesses included in the issue to target 90,000 upscale homeowners and readers. In fact, About Magazine’s mission is “to connect local and small businesses with their potential customers”, making them the perfect business partner.

The deadline to be included in the September issue is August 1, 2023. For more information about the magazine, visit https://aboutgwinnettga.com.

While continuing to serve business members in the Gwinnett cities of Snellville, Grayson, and Loganville it will now include 10 additional cities in four counties – Gwinnett, DeKalb, Rockdale, and Newton counties. Additional cities who can now engage in GECC’s new economic development offerings include Lawrenceville, Dacula, Lithonia, Stonecrest, Covington, Conyers, Almon, Oxford, Porterdale, and Walnut Grove. Visit https://mygecc.org to become a member today.

The expansion is part of a year-long strategic planning effort by Wilson, the board of directors, and other stakeholders. It includes a new look through a refreshed brand that better represents the chamber’s vision as an economic growth engine. Members can get excited as GECC unveils one of the most robust business training and development programs in the marketplace for business leaders to learn and transform.

This partnership with About Magazines represents GECC’s commitment to offer bold exposure opportunities that spawn real growth for all of its members and is just part of the beginning of partnerships that prompt growth for small businesses throughout the eastside region.
