Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett (Good Samaritan Gwinnett), a metro Atlanta-based nonprofit, has been named a recipient of a $125,000 grant through the annual Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards® program. This significant funding will support Good Samaritan Gwinnett’s mission to expand access to care, improve health outcomes for uninsured individuals, and provide affordable medical and dental services to underserved patients in metro Atlanta.

Helping the Uninsured Gain Access to Critical Healthcare

“We are so thankful to Chick-fil-A for their investment in our mission to make healthcare accessible to the uninsured in our community,” said Shameka Allen, CEO of Good Samaritan Gwinnett. “For many of the uninsured patients we serve, we are their only option for medical and dental care. This generous grant allows us to continue to deliver critical care and improve the health and well-being of our neighbors.”

Good Samaritan Gwinnett is among 56 organizations receiving a collective $6 million in grants from Chick-fil-A, Inc. as part of the 2025 True Inspiration Awards. The program recognizes organizations that are addressing pressing issues within their communities and align with Chick-fil-A’s corporate social responsibility priorities:

  • Caring for Others through Food
  • Caring for Our Communities
  • Caring for Our Planet

A Decade of Community Impact

Established in 2015, the True Inspiration Awards honor Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy’s legacy of generosity and community service. Over the past ten years, 357 grants ranging from $30,000 to $350,000 have been awarded to nonprofits across the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the U.K.
